As we shared at a recent company meeting, a current priority is establishing/maintaining ideal Manager-to-Individual Contributor ratios across the organization. This looks different by team and department, and while some areas may be more top-heavy, the intention is always to ensure that managers are set up well to provide personalized coaching and guidance to each team member regarding career growth. We recognize that career advancement is important, and we’ve designed our job family structure with fairness and consistency at its core. While our approach may differ from other organizations, it’s meant to create clarity and equity in career progression. To support individual growth and the achievement of career goals, we place a strong emphasis on the rigor of our performance management system and the development of personalized career growth plans. These tools are designed to provide clear expectations, track progress, and identify opportunities for development. We’re always working to improve and refine our organizational structure and leadership effectiveness, and feedback like yours plays an important role in that process. Thank you for taking the time to share a bit about your 5 years at ROI! I appreciate your sentiments around organizational change; in such a dynamic space, things are always changing. As a leadership team, we're always working to strengthen our approach to change management. Soliciting feedback early and often is key and as you said, we remain committed to listening to team members to understand why initial changes/plans may not be the best and how we can make them better. You touched on so many wonderful 'pros' of working at ROI and I have to agree with all of them!
