Pros

The pay was good, and they are a large national firm. Interns are sent to Chicago for training- all expenses paid, but there was no technical training (leadership training/professional development).

Cons

No performance feedback for at least 10 weeks, not enough work for interns during busy season (red flag?), typical cons of any other public accounting firms

Pros

Great work/life balance for me due to my specific management team. Great knowledge sharing; I learned a lot to advance my career elsewhere. Amazing amount of PTO (time off) after several years with firm.

Cons

Occasional long hours, as to be expected of any firm, under average pay for my position.
