Sinking Ship

Pros

Awesome coworkers. Decent benefits. Middle management is supportive although their hands are tied on almost everything.

Cons

Toxic upper management and HR. If you need to work here, fight tooth and nail when negotiating salary, otherwise they will low ball you. No development of employees. Low morale. Incredibly high workload with zero reward. More people leaving than being hired across the board. The company is forcing in office work even though it has been proven that working remote is effective for many positions. Ultimately the company believes that everybody is replaceable you are just a number on a piece of paper. The ship is sinking.

There has been a common theme from associates that the team at RTC is exceptional and our benefits are very competitive. Thank you for sharing your feedback on those topics, including the Fun Friday program that allows associates to start their weekend at 2:30 every Friday and our Volunteer Time Off benefit. Like all companies right now, we are definitely feeling the impact of a tight labor market and combatting in various ways to pay competitively and attract quality candidates. Thank you for the suggestion on ways to make changes. Always pursing ways to be modern and innovative.

Pros

- People are generally friendly. - Decent benefits. - Fun Fridays. - VTO (volunteer time off) if you're into that type of thing.

Cons

- Pay needs to updated to be more competitive. - Management is slow to react especially to change and low morale. - Management should be working on modernizing it's policies/procedures to help retain/attract talent. - Management needs to invest in its people with training, career paths, and financially. - Hiring is slow. - When employees leave, the company tends to replace them with people at a much lower level (skill, experience, etc). - Some problems/issues within the company are recognized but tend to never get solved or corrected.

I’m glad that you like the hybrid work schedule that we have in place. That is something that we’ve heard from others as well. As it relates to workload not syncing with your pay and a reference to favoritism, I hope that you’ll raise this concern with your supervisor and/or Human Resources so that we can address.
