Pros

You Get to travel. benefits are good. Managers can't be trusted. don't even try to make friends with them.

Cons

You don't learn much in your field. your job is never safe no matter how long you been there or how much experience you have.

Pros

Great place to work, especially for an intern, was able to get hands on experience that i felt made a difference and everyone was open and willing to talk to you about their careers and giving advice.

Cons

working for a for a government contractor can be a bit stressful as you look towards the future with the defense money given out shrinking. company is constantly downsizing it seems like.

Pros

Depending on the program, there can be plenty of opportunities. Pay is competitive and not all management is inept. Some jobs provide significant financial incentives beyond base pay. Positions available worldwide.

Cons

As with all large corporations, it's easy to fall through the cracks. The system for applying to new positions within the company appears to treat internal applicants the same as external applicants (you may not even get a call if your resume doesn't have whatever HR is looking for).
