      Growing pains

      Pros

      Rackspace is a great place to learn. Lots of talented people and the culture is fantastic. One of the more challenging jobs I have had.

      Cons

      Rackspace is starting to make some poor decisions with spending money. There are obvious inequities that do not seem to be getting addressed. Middle management is growing resulting in that unneeded fat layer.

      Pros

      Culture is fun. Relaxed environment most the time.

      Cons

      Since going public it has gone downhill. Good ol boy promotion system. Unfair paycuts in may areas while senior leadership gets raises. HR unresponsive.
