Pros

This company has a genuinely positive culture, supported by committees and initiatives that foster a sense of belonging. Colleagues are generally respectful, collaborative, and open to feedback, and there is direct access to management, who are approachable and supportive. Work-life balance is generally healthy, though it can vary by department. The benefits package is adequate, with the free HMO health plan being the standout offering. For self-driven employees, there are opportunities to take on meaningful work and make an impact.

Cons

The company has faced repeated layoffs over multiple years, raising significant concerns about long-term stability. Career growth is limited and heavily dependent on the department. With a small organizational structure and long-tenured leadership, upward mobility is minimal, as critical tasks often cannot be transitioned. Compensation is below market relative to similar roles in the industry. Diversity was once emphasized, but with the diversity lead laid off, it is difficult to see future initiatives progressing meaningfully. The HR department have experienced higher turnover, creating inconsistencies in processes, support, and employee experience.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you value our positive culture, collaborative colleagues, approachable leadership, healthy work-life balance, and benefits like the free HMO plan, as well as the chance to make an impact. We also hear your concerns. Changes within the team are difficult, and we are focused on strengthening our long-term health in light of an everchanging external environment to thrive for another 100 years. We will continue to provide career growth opportunities while regularly reviewing compensation packages to stay competitive. Diversity has been part of our mission since the beginning, and it remains a core priority as we continue building upon our inclusive culture. Thank you, Robert Pasin (Chief Wagon Officer)

Pros

Great brand with amazing coworkers. Size of company and scale of operations meant you got to work on huge projects often. Lots of trust to make decisions.

Cons

Small team sizes left lots of work per person, but allowed for bigger projects for each. Bad financial outlook led to layoffs of 30% of company, which affected my role.
