COVID-19 Response

Pros

Radio Flyer has handled the pandemic really well. They made the correct decisions to keep everyone safe, and were very transparent in all communication about what was happening. They supplied the technology needed to work from home, and provided opportunities for social connection that was missing with most everyone offsite. As we head into a year of working this way, communication continues to be strong with safety the top priority. Even with current unknowns there has been clear communication about what decisions have been made (adopting a hybrid in-office, work from home schedule), and what is still in flux (the date to return to the office). Collaborative meetings between teams are still happening regularly with the assistance of Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Cons

The original communication about the office being shut down in March came out at 5pm on a Friday, when most everyone had already left. Overall, there are few downsides to working here, and management is very open to discussing and correcting any that arise.

I am proud of Flyers' ability to adapt throughout the duration of the pandemic. Thanks, Robert

Pros

Great people, fun environment, supportive of your career and goals

Cons

None that I can think of. Hefty interview process if you aren't into that, but ensures they are hiring the right people and gives you a deep understanding of the culture
