Radio Flyer is a great place for engineers to learn new skills, have ownership on large projects, and ultimately grow their engineering and project management skills. The team at Radio Flyer is innovative, creative, and always looking how we can develop great new products. Over the past 5 years, Radio Flyer has expanded to many new product categories, which makes it exciting and allows individuals to learn something new. These new categories bring challenges, but at the same time allow individuals to step up and make a direct impact on the business. The Sr. Management team provides great support and guidance to all individuals, while also giving you space to grow. Benefits and profit sharing are also very competitive.

Cons

The team is lean and resources can be tight during busy times of the year.

Radio Flyer is an amazing company that values its employees and makes sure each employee knows how much they contribute to company goals. Managers are great and are always willing to help. There are also several committees that employees can join and work/life balance is great.

Cons

Location might be difficult for some as the company is located closer to the suburbs

Pros

We have a team that performs at a high level with a strong sense of teamwork and commitment to meeting or exceeding the company’s goals. The senior leadership team is transparent. The CWO is kind and fair. The benefits are great. During the Covid-19 pandemic Radio Flyer has been especially generous - modifying and improving wellness benefits, giving extra days off and helping cover unexpected costs with the sudden transition to working from home. Managers worked with individuals to modify schedules based on homeschooling and childcare needs. The way the pandemic has been handled has really demonstrated the company’s values and its commitment to Flyers.

Cons

We tend to run lean from a staffing perspective. There are times of the year where the workload is high and work/life balance is difficult to maintain. While most have been working remotely due to Covid-19 the commute can be long when working from the office.
