Dirty, poorly maintained. Non-profit, what a joke!!!!. Look up the publicly available 990 IRS form, massive profits, very handsomely compensated executives, all on the back of a hugely understaffed for volume monopoly. For instance, Irwin Kaufman, who was FIRED as the Chief Medical Officer 3 years ago, is still there making almost $2,500 a DAY, every day, all year. He has never worked anywhere else so it is not like he is top talent which needs to be retained. Multiply that by the 20 or so highly compensated administrators, several without advanced degrees, and you see why the costs are so high. Why do they need 2 Chief Medical Officers, and a Chief of Pediatrics and a Chief of the Medical Group, all paid WAY north of half a million dollars a year plus deferred salary. Just those 4 administrators cost $16,000 per DAY, every DAY, just firing Kaufmann would enable them to hire 15 highly paid, full time nurses to actually care for the patients and allow the nurses to take breaks and slow the incredible burnout.
