We understand how important it is to share information and keep the team "in the know", which is why Peiffer and team have made it a priority to share information via the daily memo, The Weekly Drip, The Water Cooler, and the Quarterly State of the Practice. Thank you for providing feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the annual all staff retreat, robust benefits program, and colleagues who live by Raftelis’ values. With projects ranging from affordability program development, strategic plan creation, financial planning, cost of service studies, etc. the work varies greatly. The end goal of all of these projects is help government agencies operate as high-performing, sustainable entities, and, ultimately, make our communities better places to live, work, and play.

Pros

- Interesting work - Annual retreat - Some great people

Cons

- Needs to have a more consistent company-wide means to approaching projects. - Management does not take care of problems, period. - A small company that is able to get a way with bad behavior because they do not fall under certain federal laws (i.e. FMLA). You are not protected from harassment, even when you have legitimate medical excuses. - Fear and intimidation rule certain offices. Some employees will not be let go, no matter how awful they are. - The path upward is very unclear. The people that get promoted don't know why they were promoted, and very vague unhelpful criticism is given. Equity in promotions does not occur on a company-wide level. - Retaliation seems to be an acceptable behavior.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Please know that we take discrimination, harassment, and retaliation very seriously. Raftelis has policies, procedures, and all employee training in place to prevent these issues as we have zero tolerance. Your feedback to management reminds me how important it is to continue to live by our values: integrity, accountability, innovation, quality, diversity and inclusion. Again, thanks for your feedback.
