      Pros

      Working remotely is convenient and a nice benefit

      Cons

      You only get 2 10 minute breaks that you will end up working thru. You will also need to work off the clock unless you want to be put on a PIP. You are expected to constantly take new calls while working on trip change request. There is no downtown to catch up. You will be chastised for going over 40 hours while at the same time being told that you cannot have unquoted requests. The pay is below the industry average. There are daily policy changes some a complete 180 from what you were told to do the day before. They cater to Senior AEs, not giving new hires the same quality leads but still holding everyone to the same KPIs which is extremely unfair. You are expected to book Senior AEs customers which takes away from follow up on your own bookings. You will dread logging in after 6 months. The turnover is extremely high.

      Tread Carefully: High Pressure, Minimal Support, and Poor Leadership Accountability

      • Opportunity to build knowledge of luxury rail travel itineraries • Some team members are friendly, supportive, and genuinely love travel • Comprehensive training provided at the start of employment • Commission structure can be rewarding for high performers • Fast-paced environment that may suit highly independent, competitive individuals • Office space is well set up with good facilities • Exposure to international destinations and customer service scenarios

      Cons

      High-pressure sales culture with strict KPIs and performance scrutiny • Micromanagement is common — little autonomy or trust in staff decisions • Concerns raised by staff are often dismissed or reframed as performance issues • Poor psychological safety: little support for neurodivergent staff or those needing accommodations • Termination processes lack transparency and consistency • Culture of favoritism and internal cliques • Little opportunity for progression unless aligned with inner circles • Feedback is not always welcomed or acted on constructively • HR appears to prioritise company image over staff wellbeing • Diversity and inclusion are surface-level; no real framework for equitable treatment • Unrealistic expectations and shifting sales goals lead to burnout • Lack of clarity and consistency in management communication • Staff who express mental health concerns may be viewed as “difficult” • High turnover suggests systemic issues with staff retention and support And lastly a HIGH revolving door culture, they’re always hiring new staff, groups of 10 and 1 or 2 would stay beyond 3 months if not terminated or scrutinised

      Great Culture, Great People, Great Leadership

      Pros

      The people at Railbookers Group are what make this place exceptional. From day one, you feel welcomed into a culture that’s collaborative, supportive, and genuinely focused on improvement, not just on the business side, but in how employees are treated and empowered. Leadership is strong and approachable, and that strength absolutely flows all the way through the organization. There's a clear sense of direction, but also room for your voice to be heard, they actively encourage new ideas. The environment is positive, not just performatively so. Teams work together, not in silos, and there's real care for employees' wellbeing and growth. It’s the kind of place you actually want to recommend to your friends.
