Pros
Overall, good to great coworkers Some interesting areas of R&D to develop A shift away from the patent troll mentality (finally) Good facilities Great benefits and low cost for them Good salaries
Cons
No true corporate strategy ("increasing shareholder value" is NOT a corporate strategy) Only focus is on cost cutting; minimal on development of new markets Little value in the stock options Current CEO is tactical but no strategic vision; tactical is needed but where is company going without a real strategy? Numerous layoffs in last two years limiting moving company ahead Poor to average management in middle layers (some areas have a strong good old boy network)
