Pros

Continues to be a high growth environment with lots of opportunities. High growth continues and manager are focused on continuing to hire quality talent in all aspects of the business to continue to support our growth. Also weekly lunches, frequent company events, and employee of the half awards are great perks.

Cons

Since we continue to experience rapid growth it can be chaotic at times. Most of the negative comments here are from people who were underperforming and didn't want to work past 5PM or make an impact. I enjoy being able to make a difference and be a part of building something together with an awesome team.

The company is an exciting place to work at. The engineering team operates as a group and the leadership of the engineering team is awesome. I see so much upside within engineering, which makes it exciting for me. I read some of these posts about the founders and laughed. I couldn't be happier to work for them. Although, they can be challenging at times I have respect for what they have accomplished and for the appreciation they show is in so many ways.

Cons

it is a rapid growth company, which equals hard work and I am good with that, but others that have come and gone weren't.

Pros

Because of the growth of the cloud industry, RapidScale has had to expand so quickly, which means adding new staff, partners, products, etc. It provides a ton of room for their employees to grow within the organization and develop new skill sets. They have a big emphasis on developing their employees and promoting them to higher positions. Other benefits include: - Great work culture - Ability to really thrive within your role - Company lunches every Friday - A lot of new and exciting forward movement within the company - You'll never be bored! - The management really does care about you as a person, not just an employee

Cons

Obviously within a growing company there are struggles and growing pains. - Sometimes it's tough to collaborate with others because most of the employees are typically very busy with customers - They're currently implementing an 401K program, but there isn't one yet. - Because of the nature of the industry, sometimes it's tough to get the right person to fill some positions
