      Pros

      Friendly on-boarding program, steep learning curve

      Cons

      Very bureaucratic company led by conservative management, managers viewed staff as expendable / did not care about junior professionals boundaries and lifestyle, lack of gender and racial diversity appalling especially given they are a financial services firm / must compete globally, HR exists to limit liability / protect the firm rather than to protect employees, have heard upper management verbally refuse to recruit from certain employers and universities in order to preserve their "culture" despite candidates' qualifications

      Pros

      The retirement and tuition assistance are good benefits.

      Cons

      The salaries are pretty low for the industry. The health insurance has gotten progressively worse. The advancement opportunities aren't great, since everyone seems to post jobs and go through the motions of interviewing, then hire their friends.

      If you stay a very long time you will have a great benefits package built up Work-life balance (although low comp. makes this tough) Conservative firm if you’re looking for job stability over compensation Not a place to earn a

      Not vested for a match at all 401k-wise for 4 years. (Just recently moved down from 5 to 4). HSA health option only. Depending on your health & family dynamic this could be a HUGE cost even with RJ match Outside of St. Pete, the facilities for corporate employees are sub par. Compensation is much lower than the industry average
