It's only about Atlanta

Pros

Most people are friendly. Benefits are affordable.

Cons

There are no advancement opportunities unless you are willing to move to Atlanta and work in the corporate office (Cox Automotive). This is also an environment that only really cares about car dealerships and making money by helping dealerships make money. Pay is low, and the company is always looking for ways to find more cheap labor. Open, honest and direct is a lie and should never be believed.

Pros

Great benefits offered, awesome people to work with

Cons

You're made to feel like you can't take advantage of benefits, urged not to take pto off because there are still goals to be hit. No processes in place for 95% of the work you do. No communication between departments, huge walls are up between operations and sales. Wins and success are not celebrated. Cold and heartless leadership seems like they only care about the people above them, not the people below them. Goals are unreasonable with the other amount of work dumped on our plates. Never know which hat I have to wear and which one i'll be held accountable for that day. Makes for an extremely uncomfortable work setting. On top of this, the company is more concerned with being a call center and our customers are suffering due to declining performance. Everyone is more concerned with surveys and schedule adherence and because of that, "putting the customer first" has gone to the wayside. Also, employees titles are changing and it makes it seem as if everyone is getting demoted, not a good look on resume's. Good employees are dropping like flies because of this and it's just making it harder on the rest of us! Second president in as many years leaving the company...Is there something they know that I don't?

Pros

PTO & Great Benefits & Coworkers

Cons

The sales floor has been in an uproar for the past 8 months due to bad leadership, and as soon as a change was made they used 1 person as a scapegoat. We have more issues than ever. We are a company that transports vehicles but we focus more on becoming a call center. Sales leadership will have meetings with the sales team and in the same meeting tell us that a.) goals will be going up 10-15% next year and he's not confident in our ability to move cars and perform for our customers. On top of this, i can't believe that the leader of sales would talk badly of people that are no longer with the company. This is not professional, and it begs the question....is this how he thinks of all of us until we are no longer of benefit to him? Last they just changed all of our titles and can't explain what they really want us to do in our day.
