At Ready Auto Transport, we are an equal opportunity employer. We take all employee feedback and concerns seriously. The Human Resources department is available onsite to listen to any concerns that employees may have. In addition, the President of the company, Jerry Tassone has an Open Door Policy, as does the rest of the management to hear any employee concerns. We believe that we have a great work environment where employees are encouraged to be innovative, be engaged, and raise concerns. Once of our 5 guiding principles is Integrity: "We are ethical and honest in our intentions, words and actions. Integrity is vital to the attainment of our business and to building a culture of mutual respect". If this core value is not being followed, it is important that we know about it an look into it. Thank you for input and your concern has been raised to Senior Management.

Pros

The company was recently bought out by Manheim, so that adds some credibility to the company. Additionally, if you are extremely ambitious, there is some (albeit minimal) opportunity for upward mobility. The company is also good about hiring for new positions from within their current pool of employees.

Cons

* The business model is not good (largely dependent upon truck drivers that have ZERO accountability). * Very immature, small-minded, micro-managing sales managers with no management-training or prior management experience (the work environment is a lot like high school and you are always being watched or gossiped about). * Work load is too extreme and unrealistic. * Angry/dissatisfied customers call constantly.

Thank you for your feedback. Your concerns have been elevated to Senior Management for review. Our Leader, President Jerry Tassone, came on board in August of 2013, and has great Leadership skills and a history of building outstanding organizations. That of course, includes building a strong leadership culture. We are excited about our future. As a Cox Automotive Company, and part of the Manheim family, we would agree that we have many opportunities for employees that were not previously available. We are so excited about our great benefits, training programs, employee discounts and countless other advantages that we are still discovering! Pros

The company has a friendly work environment and the managers do not micromanage your work. The office is fun and there are company outings from time-to-time.

Cons

There is limited career advancement because the organization is very flat. Management does not always timely communicate to employees about new changes.
