Pros

benefits, some managers nice, New HR Director is caring, VP John Blobner a very approachable guy, listens! Marketing has a spunk making meetings Fun!

Cons

Favoritism, lack of management development, empty promises, low pay for alot of work. Accounting dept rude and IT dept in need of alot of HELP!! The President Jerry Tassone has brought company moral down to a new low. He is known for his rude remarks, and doesn't acknowledge the 'little ' people who are working their butts off! Some people helping multiple depts and dedicated to the company are treated poorly, and again paid very little. Ready use to be family oriented, Christmas Parties were celebrated for employees and families, now it consists of a meeting and 30 min lunch, eating at your desk. Fun! Executives still play favorites, and empty promises of advancement....

Pros

I've worked for multiple fortune 500 companies in my lifetime and had an average to less experience with them for the most part. At first I was hesitant in coming to t work for a tiny small company w/ only 150 employees give or take here at Ready. Once I started however, I realized what a great career choice I made! I work in the Sales dept, and yes, there are growing pains in our department, but it's a good growing pain- a pain that makes each Sales team want to compete for a monthly bonus, for bragging rights, and for some good ole camaraderie. Also, who would think that a company this small would have benefits just as good as a multi-million dollar Fortune 500 company?? Starting Jan 1st, Ready is rolling out a Pension Plan! That's impressive. Again, I can't stress the benefit of a small company atmosphere, with BIG corporate benefits! You can feel the excitement range from upper management down to the floor people! It's worth bearing the pains in the end. Manheim/Cox Enterprises will take Ready to new heights and beyond! Will you take that next plunge? I have, and so can you!

Cons

because the company is small, and growing at such a fast pace, the IT dept at Ready is every trying to keep up with all the new changes, which can and will make certain days harder than others which can cut into every departments productivity and dollar. That being said, the IT department needs to stay one step ahead of the ball so to speak and adjust their tactics/methods/business strategy to make sure that the future of Ready is stable and can handle the next wave of advances in IT.
