Pros

Benefits is what keeps the employees around.

Cons

Extremely understaffed, yet expected to accomplish work load as if you were fully staffed. Operations manager never has their employees back. Stress level and your health is not worth the pay. The over all moral of the company is horrible, and the president has no desire it seems to bring it up.

Pros

I have been at Ready Auto Transport for 3 months now and it has been a great experience so far. Very positive work environment with great management. Starting from the recruiting process Ready Auto and Cox enterprises has impressed me with great communication as well as provided a seamless hiring process that made a stressful process seem easy. This company really cares for its employees and you can tell from day one. Would recommend a job here to anyone looking to work in a positive, up beat environment with a lot of room for growth.

Cons

Have not experienced any cons so far.

Pros

Benefits and HR is great, that's about all.

Cons

I worked for Ready Auto before they turned into Cox. After over 5 years, the new environment is exactly why I left. They do not care about the employees. They hire people that will push and push that are only in the business to benefit themselves- yet they try and tell you otherwise. No amount of money (if they even pay you what you deserve) is worth working here. I kept hearing how much they appreciate us and the work we do, but at the end of the day I could see through that lie. They hire people that have never been in the business and pay them more than someone that has been there for years. They ask for employee input and never listen to your input. They favor people that manipulate and put those people in management, who have no idea how to manage. You end up doing more than a manager does because of all their pointless little meetings they have them in or have them working on pointless spreadsheets they take their time on so they don't have to work. You work hard to "move up" and they overload you with no increase in pay and say good job in the end-- with no advancement. You know they are getting a bonus for all the work you do. The executives all got new Ford Explorers, while we got a 25 cent raise. Only certain departments work on Saturdays and the holidays, even though you end up dealing with other departments customers (which includes getting cussed out for things not in your control). Christmas time is an absolutely joke- a party during office hours and you are still worrying about all the work you have to do by the end of the day or stay late. They also make you feel guilty for taking time off to spend with family- even though you have the PTO because management decides to take a week off and nothing will get done without you there.
