Dear Team Member, We would like to note that this instance of mandatory overtime was a one-time occasion and only required for our operations team members. The purpose, which was communicated to employees over a week beforehand, was to get caught up on moving vehicles to meet our customer delivery deadlines. The Operations Department handles shipping of all vehicles and without our team efforts, our business cannot succeed.

Pros

Working for Cox Enterprises is a great opportunity. Great benefits, and room to grow.

Cons

Upper management: They have a hard time communicating to their employees. Also, the president is rude and unapproachable. Have heard him talk down to employees on more than one occasion. (employees avoid him at all costs) The Vice President (john Blobbner) is on the other hand an approachable leader. He listens to any and all ideas. Upper management plays a big hand of favorites, though there are a few who play the game fair. Leaders are drilled to be rude, and unkind but they mask that as being "assertive". Also, you are pressured often to work more than originally scheduled .

Pros

Cox has great benefits Some very good people that work hard

Cons

Leaders are amongst the worst I have ever seen. The SVP is a hot head the defined the word disingenuous. The location sucks, why the office is nice, the last SVP that would never show up thought a location near the airport would be great so he could come in for day trips. Since he was an outsider, he did know the reason such a nice building is so cheap is because the broadway curve is the worst traffic in all of Phoenix. Corporate keeps bringing in leaders with no transportation knowledge. Cronyism is the only way to get ahead. SVP chases off or fired very good people to bring in his own people that were being laid off in Atlanta
