Pros

They give me almost enough money to rent a studio apartment.

Cons

Company is exhausting. Turn over is high because people are underpaid and because the company refuses to support their own employees. They continue to grow but can't manage what they have now and the increased workflow falls on a few undervalued staff. There's no integrity here and these glowing positive reviews sound exactly like what our HR department writes on job descriptions.

Pros

A few of the staff are nice but not many. That is about it, all of it.

Cons

Executive management might as well not exist, they do not have any interaction with employees unless they are trying to buy a company and parade around the office pretending to know who people are. They do not have any respect or trust for their employees at all and are rude all the time. The organization is a complete mess and they keep "promoting" people for no reason except to give them a new title. It's a boy's club, they promote all of the boys and never punish them for mistakes. IT won't even let people install software updates on their computers and seem angry when you ask them to do anything. The benefits are a complete joke and might as well not be there. EVERYONE IS UNDERPAID, maybe a few get too much but everyone else gets to little.

RealManage Response

First, we want to say thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us as well as your concerns for our company. We understand that working for a company as large as RealManage, which provides services to many clients throughout the United States can occasionally be isolating for employees. We recognize that not everyone may share the same values as our executive team in regards to client security and department autonomy or even be aware of the reasons we put these policies in place. With that said, we wanted to let you know that we take your concerns seriously and will do our best to address them, not only here, but in future interactions with all employees. Our executive teams are based in various markets to provide the most knowledgeable and diverse team possible for communities in all of our serviced states, this can create perceived distance between certain executives and staff. However, our team is incredibly involved in daily operations and encourages open dialogue with any executive or any other member of our staff. Our core values include Personal Relationships and Respect, and those values extend not only to our clients but to our staff as well. We strive to provide every employee the ability to grow personally and professionally whether that is a departmental promotion, a new title, salary increase or even the ability to work remotely when necessary. In these ways, we try to reward hard work, dedication, and commitment to our values. To support hundreds of employees who use company-provided computers, and to protect the data of our clients and their users, our company does restrict certain administrative rights on these devices. These restrictions allow us to ensure compliance with all required software licensing as well as enhanced privacy and security for all of our communities and staff members. If you are ever in need of IT support we encourage you to use our ticketing system which allows our teams to understand and meet the needs of employees in a timely and efficient manner. During this unique time, facing economic uncertainties and unprecedented numbers of remote employee deployment, we are attempting to alleviate the burden on all of our employees by providing them with as much stability and job security as possible. This means that various changes will be made to many of our current employee policies including paid time off and even some traditional expenses. These changes are in no way meant to discourage or disrespect our employees, but instead, to provide them with the support and time they need to address the changes happening daily. As RealManage continues to grow, as we continue to navigate these difficult and uncertain times, we know that some departments will feel understaffed or underappreciated. This is something we are doing everything in our power to mitigate by providing continued online learning, training and knowledge content as well as working to provide updated policies for hiring and daily processes. We want to encourage you to discuss any of your concerns about your staffing and training to our People Experience Department, who can help you address any of the issues you may feel are not fully discussed in this thread. Again we appreciate you taking the time to bring your concerns to our attention and we hope that moving forward you feel you have an internal avenue to discuss your concerns with members of our team. We also hope that we provided some clarity about why and how we are handling the current situation and ask for your understanding and grace as we move forward with these ideas in mind.
