Pros

Real excels in their company culture (the whole liberal lefty attitude is great). They also offer excellent health benefits.

Cons

RNWK Stock Performance is pretty horrible. My strike price is much higher than the current stock price. Real also needs to do away with their outdated business model.

Pros

I like that they trust their employees. You're allowed to make purchases under $100 for items you need with no approval. For a large company the communication from management is great (compared to other large companies I've worked for.) Opportunity for advancement for people who stick with the company seems high. Some of the fringe benefits are fun like the bowling alley and the gym. Stock plans are generous, assuming the stock does something one of these days. Company seems to have enough good things going on I'm not worried about its longevity.

Cons

Benefits are pricier than other tech companies in the area (though the benefits are good.)

Pros

The corporate culture actually isn't horrible. Every employee gets a $100/mo spending limit and they don't nickle-and-dime as badly as other companies sometimes do. It would be pretty laid back and a good place to work if your immediate management was any good. A lot of the individual people that work there are pretty nice people.

Cons

The current management shakeup has left a pile of jerks running a lot of the departments. Blamecasting and threats to fire the first employee that messes up are managements idea of how to run the company. Do not take a job as a system or networking engineer at this firm. The jerks that are currently running this company are the kind of people who like to try to solve complex problems by kicking their dogs -- they take out their problems on the lowest employees. It used to be just kind of incompetent, but now its just mean.
