Pros

Good people, good company. Not a lot of upward mobility as far as compensation.

Cons

Raises aren't guaranteed and when they do happen they are meager compared to cost of living increases and are usually eaten up by increased benefits costs.

Pros

The company is filled with kind & helpful people for the most part. The culture is also good. Most people are good at their jobs. The benefits are solid. There are much, much worse places to work.

Cons

It often feels like Red Ventures has no real long-term plan or vision for any of their properties. They are unbelievably reactionary and pivot constantly (and not in a positive, "We're willing to adapt!" kind-of-way). Leadership at the vertical level is a revolving door of people, and every six months, verticals are restructured/reorganized to suit the latest "vision". It becomes exhausting because it feels like true progress is rarely ever made. If this was a publicly-traded company, Ric Elias would have been removed as CEO long ago.
