Pros

Provide lunch and food a lot My supervisor was sweet

Cons

Misleading with interview and training. They company made it seem as if the inbound calls are customers wanting services when in reality the calls are inbound cold sales. Some customers may know why they are calling or being transferred where as others who are being transferred over from their utility companies are mislead by the utility company before even speaking with you. The utility companies inform the customers they are being transferred over to receive their confirmation number or verify their new address. Or in some cases they are just transferred over from an automated system, oblivious to what’s going on. Then it’s up to you to get them to buy internet, cable, or phone services. Very fustrating and stressful. Also they changed the commission plans almost every month. If they see that someone is making too much money they change the commission pay ASAP and in some cases will find a way to fire you in order not to pay you. Strict attendance policy , basically you have to pray you have no emergency come up because you will receive points regardless of how major your situation is. I was pregnant working here and they honestly didn’t care ! Even with doctors note , you still receive points ! Miss 3 days or more and your pretty much fired ! It’s like they creat new rules every month in order to find reasons to fire staff! Very high turn over rate.

Pros

Although it use to be much better; the pay is not the worst for an inside sales position. There are contest where you can win some additional money. You can also win some prizes. There is a steady flow of incoming calls. SO no cold calling is needed. Lunch is very cheap. Most P.M.'s (supervisors) are pretty cool.

Cons

The comp plan is always changing. Each time it changes, you make less money. They will switch you from one business to another without notice. And they will do this in a heart beat. I was lied to about getting an earlier shift. I always worked 1-10. They are open to 12 midnight! They are always asking for you to do overtime and shift swaps. And you're a prisoner to your desk. Every time you leave your desk, you have to hit the stop clock. You get 35 minutes for break. Even if you've worked a 12 hour shift! They will work you like a mule! You get a 60 second (on the dot) lunch break! Anytime you go over your break, you collect points. If you get more than 20 points, they will fire you. If you're late by over 4 minutes, you automatically get 1.25 points. It doesn't matter if you call ahead and tell them that you're stuck in traffic. And turnover is very high. That's why they are always hiring. In addition, you can't sleep with another manager. Even if your a manager! So don't "fraternize". The last time i heard about a policy like that, i was in the Navy. lol And they fire everybody. Managers are usually fired to get fired. Recently, the North Charlotte office just fired over 7 managers in less than one week! The company will never grow because they fire way too many people. Most people don't last 90 days. Plus, this company has switched cities about 5 times before it came to Charlotte. And they have no loyalty to their employees. No matter how long you've been there.

Pros

The money is OK if you do well. The food at the Charlotte headquarters is good and very inexpensive. There is a doctor on campus for barely any cost. Yearly annual trip to Mexico if you get promoted you can go on. Relaxed work attire

Cons

Press a button to use the restroom or get any kind of break. Time clock ticks down the entire time. You have to request lunch which is also a 59 minute ticking clock. Forget about having any time off for holidays or anything else. Hours are horrendous- best you can get starting out is 1pm-10pm, worst is 4pm-1am. You don’t get a full weekend off, you get for example a Wednesday and a Sunday. Stressful environment with constant calls coming in that you have to pick up and close the sale. People who call in are uneducated and rude. Your numbers every day are up on a screen the whole company can see, so everyone knows how many sales you have made that day. The compliance policy is very strict and if you have 3 mistakes, you automatically get fired. Place is run why people in their 20s who for the most part are too immature to be in a management role.
