Pros

Decent autonomy for entry level Good office perks and comp Can set you up for a real career in tech or marketing somewhere else

Cons

The best talent leaves RV as soon as a better offer comes through. A lot of people there have a major chip on their shoulder. I had people who had been there for 10 years brag about interviews with banks/ consulting firms for jobs they didn't get offers for. Carousel team structure means few, if any, people on the team have a meaningful, relevant understanding if the business

Pros

- Decent pay for being fresh out of college - Learn a lot (Disclaimer: This learning is done by teaching yourself with very little internal resources. Management doesn't have the time or capacity to teach anything)

Cons

- You gain a lot of responsibility right from the start but little support and guidance to actually set you up for success. - If your interviews were anything like mine, people glorified the ability to switch between teams or roles, yet they tend to sidestep the underlying reasons behind this perpetual change. The frequent shuffling between teams or roles primarily stems from a persistent high turnover rate within the company. Contrary to the narrative of seeking new challenges and skill enhancement, the reality is that individuals are often prompted to shift teams or roles to fill vacated positions left by the continuous departure of employees from the company. - Their launch program merely extends to an additional week of orientation, lacking genuine support or a sense of community for early talent. - ZERO work life balance. Anticipate working during nights and weekends, and to basically live and breathe RV. - Very individualistic company fostering a highly competitive atmosphere where management frequently draws comparisons between employees. - If you identify as black or brown, prepare to constantly be the only one in the room.
