Pros

Great leadership who really care about the employees. Not just a revolving door of consultants, they invest in hiring solid professionals which makes it easy to sell their services to clients. I feel that Red Cloud strives to know each consultant and understand their skillset so they can best place each person in a role they can thrive in. Worklife balance is a huge priority for the organization as well as delivering competitive wages. The Management team genuinely cares about the team and offer resources to support us with our work. I have been able to grow in my career through interesting roles with clients in various divisions which has expanded my skillset.

Cons

Cons are the same at most boutique consulting firms here, finding more clients outside of Microsoft- The 18:6 rule for all firms working with MSFT makes it a challenge for an individual to keep consistent employment but RedCloud seems to be able to keep their employees working even off corp-network longer than other firms. I think this is a testament to their hiring process- hiring and retaining the strongest consultants.

We’re glad to hear you’re having such a positive RedCloud experience and are so thankful for you and the 6 years + you’ve been part of our team! We really do care about your happiness at work and create a supportive environment that enables you (and everyone on our team) to thrive, and a good work/life balance is an important part of this. We also appreciate your understanding in that the 18:6 rule isn’t one of our choosing, and we have found a way to make it work best for all involved. Thank you for taking the time to share such thoughtful feedback!

Pros

In my time with RedCloud, I've found that--to a member--the corporate team values and practices transparency, mutual respect, ethical practice, open communication and collaboration. This extends to how RC engages with consultants as well as clients. Good work/life balance as well.

Cons

While it's tough in a competitive, belt-tightening economy, I would like to be able to offer our consultants a slightly more generous PTO package.
