Pros

Free movies. That's seriously all I can think of. And some of my co-workers were pretty cool.

Cons

I guess this review might be a little unfair since I only worked at one location and quit after three months, but my manager was really stupid (called down to concession to ask me how to spell "sir" - I almost puked, she was making like sixty grand) and unfair (changed my clock-in/clock-out time on my break to reduce payroll, etc - which was completely brushed under the rug). Also, how do you not allow your concession-stand employees free soda and popcorn? Also, the inventory is taken by the cups and bags, so if a bag goes missing (which is pretty frequent/a simple mistake), you're punished for the loss of the $6 retail price rather than the $0.03 price of the bag itself. It's a dumb way to take metrics. The club card sales are sleazy and gross. You will break out from popcorn grease, and your clothes will stink of it, always. I really didn't like it. I guess that's it. Oh - and I've heard that they're cutting hours in response to the Obamacare thing, which is crappy, but I was completely unsurprised. They don't treat their employees like an asset.

Pros

Decent job to have as a student, as most hours are scheduled at night and on weekends. Flexibility is possible (depending on management, of course).

Cons

Poor management, education not valued, does not provide "real" experience on a resume, volatile cultures, business model relies on turnover to keep wages low, run by teenagers and college students, "older" managers maintain dramatic high school mentality.

Pros

-Free movies for friends and family (within reason, of course) -A very laid back and easy going atmosphere -Training was thorough and easy to understand -Managers worked with you to create a work schedule that would be good for you -Although it is required to ask for a Regal Crown Club Card at every transaction, employees do not have to meet a specific quota of new members

Cons

-The place was basically run by teenagers and most of the managers were in their early twenties and still in school. There was a significant lack of professionalism by both floor staff and management. -Minimum wage -Hours were very unpredictable and expect to be sent home early approximately a third of your scheduled shifts -Focused heavily on up-selling, up-sizing, and suggestive selling items in concessions. Managers obsessed over blind checkers and took little consideration of the customers being bombarded with questions at checkout. Customers were easily irritated at concessions not only by the annoying questions but also the extremely high prices of mediocre food.
