Pros

Free movie tickets, lenient about school schedules, always accepted time off requests, fairly easy part time job, free movie posters sometimes.

Cons

Popcorn butter is disgusting, some managers take their jobs way too seriously, concessions isn't very fun, cleaning up after kids movies.

Pros

Free movies, co-workers are near my age, long shifts to make the drive worthwhile, discounted concessions

Cons

It's very boring. The managers aren't very nice. There are so many managers that there is no chance for a job advancement for the 15 employees that are working there. I haven't been working here for very long and I am already eager to leave. I feel that management would prefer to point out the flaws in your work rather than compliment you. You get lonely since the staff has been reduced to a bare minimum for the theater to properly function. I wish that I had continued to look for a better job rather than accepting this position. I feel that if I had researched on this site and had seen what others have to say, I wouldn't have chosen this position. I feel as if some of the managers even treat me as if I am indigent.

Pros

There aren't really many benefits available, however free movies sort of help as well as a completely flexible, no questions asked schedule.

Cons

Unfortunately, the cons out weigh the pros by a long shot! (Pros 2/98 Cons) The following cons are: - Incompetent work staff (Many workers refuse to work while on the clock) - Incompetent managers - Lack of discipline enforced by managers (Virtually no discipline is enforced at all) - Lack of leadership from GM - Low pay - No opportunities for earning a pay raise - No opportunities for position advancement - Employee's are treated poorly - Managers play favorites (I.E. under experienced employee's are awarded bonuses over those who have worked late night shifts or more complex tasks for a much longer time) - No middle authority which plays a huge problem when no managers are around to enforce discipline! (I.E. Corporate decided to take away shift leader) - The GM lacks the will help solve issues that employees have
