Constant sales pressure. I always had great sales numbers and did my job well. I went home every night feeling like a d-bag because I bought into the Regions360 approach that teaches you how to screw people. The atmosphere is toxic. It is all about stepping on anybody's head to get to the top. Most people's goal in the branch is to become CSM so they do not have to directly sell to customer, but rather force branch employees to pressure customers into products they may or may not need so the CSM's scorecard looks good and he gets a great bonus. The pay sucks for the amount of work you do.
Imagine the AT&T store, that is what they are shooting for in terms of branch employees. Unqualified "salespeople" that they can pay peanuts. Very few good bankers.
