Pros

Benefits, pretty decent work/life balance, can learn about other lines of business, not a super large bank who is always in the news for something negative, MBA not required for most positions.

Cons

Internal technology/systems lagging, internal processes are debilitating, too many layers of management, tough to compete with other banks, no consistency between geographic locale, too many forms.

Pros

Overall they offer a pretty good benefits package, great time off incentive for officers and they are pretty flexible in giving out the time off in emergencies. If you choose to work for a branch they will more than likely have one close to where you live, however you might have to wait some time before a position opens up. Senior leadership is great, and they seem to look at each market individually versus as a state whole.

Cons

Bonuses paid are sometimes out of reach at some branches, also advances might seem slow.

Pros

Regions has a great work ethic, and they treat their employees very well. Of course alot of that has to do with your manager, and wether they are good leaders. It is especially good because the company has alot of financial strength and stability. I would recommend anyone who is currently seeking a good job with alot of room for advancement to take a look at regions financial, and move up the corporate ladder. Althought you dont need a degree, it always helps to have one to show your determination and hard work. Regions has been and is a good place to work.

Cons

The only downside that I can think of is the constant push for sales.
