Disappointed in our CEO

Pros

Great team of therapists, offers continuing education and clothing reimbursement. Decent PTO.

Cons

Unrealistic productivity expectations, no pay raises in over 5 years and our only pay raise in the past 9 years was a laughable 1.5%. Had the audacity to cut our pay 10% during a pandemic when many other large companies are giving hazard pay to frontline workers. Benefits keep getting worse and more costly.

Pros

Benefits are decent , good team work and compassionate coworkers. Hard -working manager. They start you at 500$ a year for CEU’s and license fees ( but they take about 2-3 months to reimburse you )

Cons

Where to begin... don’t expect a raise. I have been working for this company for 3 years and have gotten a joke of a raise- more embarrassing than anything. I was also told that I will never be making over $40 an hour as an OTR. Looks like I will be looking someone else in a few years... RUGS RUGS RUGS. It’s all about pushing patients to get their 70 minute daily treatments when not always appropriate. The same Medicare B patients being picked up for the same reason due to poor carryover with nursing staff. all Medicare B patients NEED to be seen for 55 minutes ( unless they are on for feeding or orthotics ) No co-treats allowed with this company - no matter what the diagnosis is. I’m told to “grab a tech”. So apparently techs can be therapists too... HR stinks. Expect to be on hold for at least an hour before someone answers or just give up. Point of service documentation = poor therapy and ther ex no matter what to diagnosis is. You are forced to keep people on the clock during transports and paperwork (writing orders , changing care plans) due to the high productivity and inability for the techs to transport patients. On days where you are productive- there’s no compensation for being above the expectation. So , if you’re 90% productive and only worked 7:15 minutes, you get nothing for being above the 85% expectation and leaving 45 mins early. Leaving early over the course of the year adds up. It makes you NOT want to be productive. PTO accrual stinks. 16 days a year ( that’s if you work 40 hours a week - which you aren’t always guaranteed ) You are forced to use PTO if you take a day off.

Pros

Coworkers are great. The people you work with can be a bit testy but friendly for the most part. Lots of freedom with teaching classes your own way and scheduling private clients.

Cons

Pay is very low for the amount of time spent with clients even when caseload is high. They are always pushing for more and more people when there are only so many hours in the day.
