Pros

Culture - ReliaQuest has a culture unlike any other. At ReliaQuest I am constantly surrounded by helpful, motivated, and dedicated individuals. Each day I enjoy mingling with my co-workers and I look forward to spending time outside of work with them. The company cares about their Employees and regularly go out of their way to ensure they are happy. Variety - ReliaQuest works with companies in all major sectors. They work both with large and small companies that vary on their security posture. Working at ReliaQuest you get the opportunity to work with a large amount of security teams helping them increase their security health. Unlike most security positions you are not limited to a couple technologies. The pros for ReliaQuest could continue for a while. There are quarterly team building events that are team specific, regular happy hours, paid training, and more.

Cons

Workload - ReliaQuest is a fast pace company waiting on no one. This is one of the reasons that RQ has continued to grow at such a fast pace. Some individuals handle a heavy workload better than others. If you don't really want to work at work, ReliaQuest isn't for you.

Pros

-Only company I have been at that dedicates itself to training the individual. The on-boarding training has been a huge focus point since I joined and improves every year. I have been fortunate to have been put through multiple public speaking classes, leadership training, college classes and SANS training since joining. -Encourages employees to find the best path from A to B, if you have a better way to do something you can create it and apply it. -It’s a family. The culture is unbeatable and is a focus point. Everyone works hard and pushes each other to be better. -Everyone is focused on removing road blocks and ensuring that nothing prevents us from reaching out goals. Everyone is a grinder, you don’t have to worry about working with someone that isn’t passionate about what they do. -Books! The team reads great books that are based on leadership, culture, and personal growth. It makes a difference to be able to randomly talk to the CTO, CEO, and team members about books that you have read recently and take away items you had. Everyone is learning, no one on the team is complacent especially the leadership team. -Involved everywhere especially locally. BSides, DEFCON, Blackhat, ISSA, ISC2, etc. People are encouraged to do talks and the team is always trying to get more involved.

Cons

-Every time you see an issue if you bring it up it’s addressed. Leadership always encourages communication, it goes both ways.
