Worst company I ever worked for

Pros

The therapists I work with & the residents

Cons

Pay cuts. Benefits cost. Took away 40 PTO hours & not allowing us to use our PTO hours at times. Impossible and unethical productivity expectations. No PRN staff due to lower than standard pay rates. Poor communication. No incentive to retain employees.

Pros

Many facilities served, yet this may not be a pro. Probably a con for Medicare

Cons

This company is very driven by the bottom line. This is not a company which puts patients first. It is sad that employees are "encouraged" to push Medicare limits in regards to reimbursement. I have worked for this company for 3 years now and I have yet to experience higher management suggesting how to better the lives and therapy experiences of our clientele. Sadly, all meetings have been in regards to optimizing reimbursement and not optimizing patient outcomes. Always about the bottom line and they have no problem with educating therapists by means of unethical tactics in order to maximize reimbursement.

Pros

Ability for flexible scheduling, good documenting software

Cons

I’ve worked for them in the past and thought after their recent lawsuits maybe they had improved their company. Ha. Nope. Low pay, no holidays off or holiday pay. If you have a bad DOR good luck getting any assistance from your regional or higher up. Reports to compliance for unethical behavior, HIPAA violations, unprofessional conduct with patients? They don’t do anything. Consistent unethical, unprofessional behaviors and patient care. The entire management team from Reliant demonstrated time and again that they do not take patient care seriously and do not care about their buildings either. For the months that I worked there the DOR struggled consistently and was absent more than present, no leadership or guidance, unrealistic expectations from management while also expecting you to maintain insanely high productivity. Regional expected therapists and assistants to complete DOR role without training or pay while DOR was busy catching up on months of incomplete documentation. The most unethical, corrupt company I have ever worked with and I won’t even look at them again. I highly encourage EVERYBODY to look elsewhere. This company has no morals.
