Pros

All the people are dedicated, and work hard towards the same missions of the organization. I have been working with the organization for over 4yrs and have seen its ups and downs. With new management in place, there is a bright future for the employees at Relief International. Everyone always willing to hear new ideas and implement new changes for the better of employees.

more exposure to field offices for staff based in LA and DC

Pros

Organization has a wonderful mission. It is nice to know and see what contributions they are making all over the world. Very nice colleagues that are kind and team oriented Good worklife balance. Management does not micromanage/ no bureaucracy Creativity and innovation are encouraged

Wish people at HQ travelled to the field to see what the projects are like in the field

Foot in the door of the International Development sector and opportunities for interns to work abroad

Cons

Low salaries, appalling HR policies/practices, poor quality programmes, micro-management by senior management, bullying, over-working staff with no benefits, awful organisational culture
