Pros

Remitly has a full set of cultural values that drive the decisions, actions and behavior of everyone. The leadership walks the walk, exemplifying the best traits that make Remitly employees great. The culture of caring for customers, taking care of our people, being authentic, supportive and joyful people is priceless. I feel like I can do my best work at Remitly, and with the growth we are experiencing there is a lot of great work to be done.

Cons

Remitly is a financial institution, subject to compliance and audits in multiple jurisdictions. Our moves are more conservative than startups outside of the FinTech industry.

A company with a mission that isn't just marketing. It's real. The culture is not just a bunch of words in a list. It is authentically lived. The C-level and extended leadership team is (mostly) amazing, which is rare. The company's high growth has been a joy to impact and watch.

Cons

Comp and benefits are not where they should be given the size of the company.
