Pros

Flexible and hybrid work mode

Cons

Upper management hire/promote unprofessionals and demote less knowledgeable; the upper management would pin point the production issues to suppliers, not their teams under his/her management . The company lays off people whenever whatever to save costs, especially on those who are with the company less years and didn’t follow their guidance to framed the external suppliers. Very centralized and autocratic. The old employees can benefit from the stock bonus and profit sharing after the management lays off the hardworking fresh employees before the stock offering period in Oct annually. Can not agree more on other employee’s comment: Management is very dirty and can stoop to any level. As typical of any firm that is not publicly traded here in the USA, your performance, talent and skills count less compared to how well you can play in the office politics.

Pros

Most employees (engineers, technicians, operators) have been there for over a decade. They have tons of knowledge and experience that anyone can learn from. PTO and benefits are decent. Good company to learn if your starting out or are fresh out of school.

Cons

They will lowball you and say it's due to cost of living being lower in Palm Bay. Very little regard for the experience you may bring to the table. Here's a tip: Know your worth and ask for what youre worth. Take NO LESS. They need people (maintenance, fab techs, engr, etc). They are so shortstaffed its hilarious. I have heard of at least 5 people quitting in less than a year. Raises have been extremely stagnant. Management prides themselves on saving money, but this is one of their biggest downfalls.

Great Stepping-Stone, Poor Long-Term

Pros

- Pay is pretty competitive in its field for the area as a New Hire - Good 401k matching and healthcare options - Dramatic lack of personnel leads to a high degree of rewarding on-the-job training and the opportunity to wear a lot of different hats - Decent flexibility for day-to-day - Most colleagues are highly experienced, having been at their position for a decade or more - Fair flexibility for WFH during and following pandemic height This is a great first job to build experience for a year or three. Just don't overstay your welcome.

Cons

- Company mandates usage of paid vacation time for multiple week-long chunks; during pandemic height, most PTO was mandated for use - Multiple acquisitions led to multiple restructures with very rough transitions for both new and existing employees and complete lack of stability - Frequent unpleasant clashes and butting heads between departments and between regions within the same department - very turbulent politics in the newly-globalised company, often leading to entire projects being abandoned, shifted, or taken away due to petty politics, often being personal - Great initial wage offer leads to stagnant raises and comically stagnant promotions/mobility - highly understaffed, but since everyone who isn't a new hire has been there for 5 to 30 years, the only room to grow is sideways - Overreliance on bottom-of-the-barrel contract work to pad out poor staffing, leading to additional work for permanent employees
