Pros

Renown and Hometown Health are an amazing company to work for and the employees are the most caring and dedicated co-workers I have ever worked with. Renown/Hometown Health acknowledges employees for the work they do and the integrity of the leaders and co-workers are impeccable.

Cons

The only con I can think of is that we need more amazing employees to find us as their forever home.

Pros

Renown is always on the cutting/leading edge of innovation and technology. We have many "firsts" here. We're well known, and respected in the community. It's a great place to learn and increase your knowledge/skill base, so New Grads and Interns are given a "leg up" when first starting out. Even though we've grown by leaps and bounds over the years, it still feels like "family" as you walk through the halls. We have great benefits, and many opportunities to advance your degree- tuition reimbursement and loan forgiveness/repayment to name a few!

Cons

Like many others, we suffer from a nursing shortage, so we've had to increase our use of Travelers, which can be a 'de-motivator' for current employees. We've also experienced many changes in Leadership over the last couple of years, which leads to some disorganization and mixed messages trickling down to staff.

Thank you so much for 10 years of dedicated service within the Renown Health family! Your glowing review means the world to us considering you’ve been a part of our team for more than a decade. We have been working very hard to recruit more nurses to our team and improve our communications. We’ll be sure to share your advice with Human Resources!
