      Unfair compensation, management uncaring

      Pros

      Some entities are still non-profit, although most aren't. No risk of being outsourced.

      Cons

      Compensation is lowest in the area, all 4 areas I have worked in have been chronically under-staffed and management doesn't care, quoting some ridiculous budget. Staff - level employees are not heard at all.

      Used to have great teamwork

      Cons

      Bullying atmosphere from the top down. This team leads with fear and intimidation. I believe the CEO is a stand up guy, but that is where it stops.

      Pros

      The Residents were worth going to work and helping them everday, they were so appreciative.

      Cons

      Drama between co-workers everyday in this specific facility. If you have children, be sure to have several babysitters on call who are willing to take care of your sick kids because your sick kids are no reason to not come to work!
