Pros

If you are a people person it's a perfect job. Not tech heavy or too much administrative tasks. I get 8000-12000 steps a day. 3 twelve hour shifts, so 4 days off is nice, but very early start, so best for a morning person.

Cons

Health insurance costs a lot for a family. Pay scale is low and caps at $22 hr. After that, you stop getting raises and only a bonus so you end up falling behind cost of looking pretty quickly. No paid holidays, so if they are closed you have to use PTO or no pay.

Lots to teamwork on nights. Support learning, you’re never alone in the ER. Docs are nice.

Cons

Slow policy changes. Make you do a project for employee bonus and sign up for clubs
