Pros

Reonomy is extremely relaxed culture. Pretty much everyone gets along and they for the most part try to make it a fun office and environment. The product really is an excellent one and truly does help businesses. The founder is the nicest boss you'll ever have who really engages with his employees and is a great person. First fridays off every month. Unlimited PTO. Im giving it 3 stars strictly cause of a good first few months on the job.

Cons

At first this was like a dream company. Great product, laid back non micro-managing bosses and making good money. However once the pandemic hit the sales organization went from a well oiled machine to a disaster. The top level management made changes to what we were selling that none of us signed up for and over 75% of the sales team has left the company. Terrible decisions from ops department that just really made the company not as fun to work and the sales process much more difficult. Everyone went from being happy to miserable with the flip of a switch it seemed like.

Thanks for taking the time to write this review! It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the culture, product and office environment - our team puts a lot of effort into ensuring our Reonomists are engaged and comfortable to ensure we can provide a best-in-class experience for our clients. We are disheartened to hear that you felt your experience changed over time. During COVID, we made strategic decisions that have resulted in higher quality revenue and better experiences for our customers. We pride ourselves on being an innovative, nimble and agile startup which ensures we can adapt to what’s best for the market and our customers. Any shifts within the sales organization have been tied directly to our strategic themes and bettering the business for the future. We are sorry if you felt these changes didn’t benefit you directly, as large efforts were made to ensure our team understood the rationale and were supported as much as possible throughout this time. As a reminder, the HR team & Bill’s/Rich’s doors are always open to connect to hear more about your experience and feedback. We hope to hear from you soon! - Reonomy HR Team

Pros

• Moderately adequate health and wellness benefits • “Unlimited” paid time off • Hardworking, intelligent colleagues

Cons

• We used to have lunch/breakfast catered every day in-office. When we transitioned to work from home, a food stipend was provided, but then confiscated without explanation. • Inexperienced middle management that micromanages and does little to encourage autonomy for those in individual contributor roles. • No transparency on career growth, low, stagnant pay despite what is being advertised on places like Builtin. • No flexibility when it comes to lateral career growth within the organization. • High turnover rate due to lack of upward mobility and absence of experienced middle management

Thank you for your feedback. The management team and I read every review and try to learn from them in terms of what we should keep doing more of and what we need to change. I was disheartened to read about your experience here, and we will continue to listen and strive for excellence. Please also know that my door and Rich's door are always open, as are Devon's and Olivia's, to both current and former Reonomists. I/we would love to connect with you to discuss your experience. We, of course, wish you all the best going forward, and thank you for your contributions to Reonomy. Best, Bill

Pros

- Unlimited PTO - Fun office environment when in the office - Driven and intelligent individuals to work with - Company covered insurance

Cons

- A "favorites" culture that promotes toxic/fake behavior - Inexperienced, first-time managers who micromanage and don't know how to utilize or grow their team - Lack of transparency around career growth leading to high turnover - Lack of overall vision/goal for a company with a good deal of funding - Strong focus on surface level initiatives with little action/change occurring at the top, including diversity initiatives
