Pros

Benefits are awesome! Great! Being a flight attendant is a great job in it self.

Cons

Don't expect phone calls back or timely response to emails. Don't expect to understand how your pay works. When it come to understanding pay and or how to use your benefits if a problem arises expect to be given the run around. Management is petty. Oh! And a monthly fee that I never authorized nor was explained in training is taken out of my checks, I asked multiple departments about this and never received an actual explanation.

Pros

At the time Shuttle America was growing, however due to pilot shortages from not offering a contract for over 12 years the airline is suffering and aircraft are now being moved from one certificate to the Republic Certificate, there is little company growth however, many flight attendants are leaving for other carriers, resulting in a lot of movement. There is no min hour requirement, so you can work as little or as much as you like offering a lot of flexibility once you have senority and can swap and drop. The CEO Bryan Bedford is a smart cookie, however he doesn't seem to understand that the FAs are the hugest part of the operation when it comes to customer service.

Cons

Management is rarely supportive. They would take the word of another rather than support their own. Usually around the 5 year mark, they begin to look for problems with crewmembers and find a way to terminate them. There is no employee recognition program, but they are very quick to point out problems or things done wrong. The pay is okay, however the current contract really needs to be amended for a number of reasons.
