Depending on the location you could have great management or really poor management; also depends whether it's a former Republic or Allied site. Additionally, it wasn't until I gave my notice that they offered me a raise to get me to market. Depending on your position you may work long or off hours, as that's when the drivers are out there.

Very poor communication, some of the managers have no idea how to do your job but ride you all the way to the bank, they preach the "5 R's" and require you to give examples to prove that you are following them even though they are not. Managers are so worried about getting sued by the slackers for hurting their "feelings" that they end up treating them like gold while the hard workers are treated like, well, garbage! People with absolutely no waste industry experience were hired to supervise drivers with 20+ years of service only because they attended college and know how to kiss management rear. Some managers get a sick thrill out of playing mind games, working there is like being a steel ball in a pinball machine: Go that way!! No, don't go that way, go this way!! Nope, you're out of here!
