Pros

Good pay and decent benefits

Cons

The company culture breeds an atmosphere of mistrust and isolation out of fear that someone will throw you under the bus to save their job. Management does nothing to bring the drivers and office staff together, so it feels like you're constantly at odds with others on your team. Upper-level management gives ZERO time to frontline staff, instead they walk through the office without speaking to anyone, and local management discourages ANY communications with other Republic offices, so there is no sharing of best practices or streamlining of processes. In my experience, women here are paid less than their male counterparts and expected to do more in the same role.

Pros

Great pay Work from home The job is easy, just really awful Coworkers are great Equipment provided There's lots of ladders to climb in any direction, anywhere in the company.

Cons

Policies are strict and zero tolerance. While some supervisors will work with you in one off situations, others will fire you no questions asked. Those same supervisors will encourage you to get FMLA for medical exemptions, then bully you out of using it or find a loophole to fire you for it. You need a doctor's note to provide to HR to clock out and use the restroom. They will fire you if you go pee without one. PTO is use it or lose it within the same calendar year, it's inevitable that you will lose a chunk every year. Even what you accrued in December. It's a call center, you should know up front most people who call are already mad. It's a given. You don't get a breather. The call ends, another starts and there is no reset. Hopefully the previous caller wasn't that mean.
