The people that work there are their best assets. Work is never monotonous

Cons

Management is so terrible and tone death, that it makes doing your job unbearable. Senior management is so woke now,. That they're worried more about saying the right thing than doing the right thing.

Pros

Feels good to clean up the trash in the city. Being outdoors and having the convince to go to stores around the route if need be. Uniforms provided and they try to bring in food and perks on occasion.

Cons

No room to grow within the company. If you try to move up, the managers get worse and harder to work with. Benefits are extremely expensive and the pay isn’t that great for what you do. Constantly over-worked and having to pick up slack of other drivers/helpers. Frustrating to come to work everyday.

A company clearly driven to appease its shareholders only ,while you who make the company work, get bypassed and stepped on . Raises are a joke at best and the trucks available to you to drive should’ve been retired 10 years ago .their uniform choice is a disgusting polyester blend and you’ll roast in the summer since your trucks AC wont work because of worn out blowers or freon leaks they wont fix , so you’ll roll the windows down and suck in all the caustic dust from the landfill and transfer stations. But hey you’ll get free lunch if you’re around that day and walmart gift cards to keep you happy
