Pros

Throughout my 2 years at Reputation, I have truly never been happier at a company. Whether it's the day-to-day job, the people here, or simply the product itself, I'm beyond grateful to have found this opportunity. If you are a person willing to actually put the work in, show up each day with motivation, grit, and the willingness to learn from others, the leadership team will do everything they can to help you grow in your career. We are consistently given a wide variety of incentives based on performance (team events/outings, leaving early when we hit our goals, giftcards, etc.) and the managers always ready to celebrate our wins accordingly.

Cons

With the current state of the economy, it's only natural that businesses (especially those within the tech industry) find ways to do more with less. Unfortunately, during these uncertain times you can't be attached to a timeline in which you will see upward career growth and those decisions are not always up to the business, but rather dictated by the state of the economy. These situations tend to put leadership in the "hot seat", however, given these difficult times of lay-offs and budget cuts, I feel our leadership team has handled these business decisions in the best possible manner. It's never an easy decision, but at the end of the day, we have to remember this is a business. My advice to anyone looking to join a sales team (especially an SDR role), is that you must be adaptable, willing to collaborate and learn from others, and most importantly - willing to have tough conversations with your leaders about your goals and what truly motivates you. In this role you need to be patient with growth, (but know there IS a light at the end of the tunnel) and leave your feelings of entitlement at home. Just keep in mind....the grass is not always greener on the other side.

Often feel like things are on organized and ran inefficiently. C suite gives off a “boys club” vibe

Pros

There are amazing, collaborative, smart people at reputation in every department. ERG that are amazing.

Cons

This place used to be amazing! Unfortunately, there is no clear GTM strategy from leadership or if there is a direction it’s never followed long enough to impact results. The product is great in some areas but inconsistent in others - too many solutions that the messaging gets confusing to the market. A lot of amazing people have left. Even more smart and loyal people have been laid off undoubtably to have the funds to stack the executive and senior leadership teams in order to help with “strategy”. Most employees are burnt out over egregious quotas, additional UNPAID job responsibilities, angry customers, budget cuts, project overload etc. On top of all of that, there’s workplace politics, nepotism, and some straight up inappropriate behavior that happens at this company.

Thank you for your thorough review. We agree that we have pretty amazing, collaborative and smart people throughout Reputation. We will make note of your constructive feedback and share with the greater leadership team. In the last year, the Company has refocused commitments to grow the business in a sustainable and profitable way and we feel confident that our customer focused strategy will enable their, and our, long term success. The Company has an Employee Survey Action Champion team that is made up of a combination of leaders and employees who collaborate on initiatives that address survey feedback - please work with your manager if you would like to be a part of this team. We appreciate you being a part of our team and hope that you continue to grow and develop with us.
