      Pros

      Engineering @ Reputation.com - great place to really get your hands dirty. Lots of unique problems are being tackled here with opportunities to kick start projects from scratch. As far as engineering is concerned this place is still a startup. Haven't yet reached "big data" scale but headed there.

      Cons

      Because engineering functions as a startup culture and process is still being defined. This can be a little jarring for someone who comes from a more formal background. And because most projects are being started from scratch there maybe some clash in opinions.

      Not your average small company

      Pros

      Unlike a lot of Silicon Valley companies, the people here seem dedicated to doing a good thing for the world. The company is no longer a "startup" but it still has a lot of the energy. The office is a big converted industrial space with 30' ceilings. It creates a fun atmosphere when the sales team starts singing after a big victory, or on Friday afternoon when the Nerf weapons come out. In short, the place has a lot of personality. Lots of people work hard, but they also have a lot of fun. All kinds of people work here, from engineers to English majors, and everyone hangs out on Friday lunches. Very egalitarian.

      Cons

      The management team is so deep in their work that they sometimes forget that not everybody is accessible 24/7/365. But they are usually pretty good about understanding. The benefits packages are more startup-y than I would like, but apparently that is changing soon. If they do get the benefits package in line with their competition then I would improve my rating by a point.
