Pros

Great location in a beautifully designed building. All the snacks and drinks you can eat, free lunch, great healthcare benefits Nice colleagues who work hard: everyone outside of management is trying to do their best despite the company culture and product issues Fun quarterly sales dinners Cool industry, interesting clients and stories Self rewarding for clients you are able to help

Cons

All of upper management left in 2012/2013. False promises: convincing people to stay under false pretenses, offer salary increases and then redacting, hiring people into certain positions and then removing them. Unrealistic expectations: not providing the resources that employees need to do their jobs. Account managers managing 4-500 accounts with tons of manual work - nothing is automated. Understaffed writing/editing team as well as fulfillment teams >> very poor product offering. Most things are outsourced to people in the cloud for the lowest price possible instead of building technology from the ground up to make things work.....lots of duck tape everywhere you look. Continuous Pivoting: new products all the time with no roadmap for actual implementation or scalability or training to sell/use the products. Overpromising to desperate clients who have no where else to turn, charging them tons, and then not delivering on engagements with no remorse. I'd very confidently say there is a 30% efficacy rate. No communication: literally 0. No one knows the direction of the company, who is working on what, what is most important, when there are new product releases, when there are management changes. There is no communication for individual teams, no training, no continued educations, no sales meetings, no notification of commission plan changes. I literally had money retroactively taken out of my paycheck, a month AFTER they notified us of a change in the commission plan. No work culture: Just go to work, work as best you can with what you have, go home. Terrible politics: When an organization is fundamentally failing the claws come out. Everyone is out for themselves with little regard for others or their careers. This is Reputation.com 100%. Be really good at navigating the right people or flying under the radar of mid-management. They are looking for an exit: Upper management is working very hard to make the financials look as good as possible so someone (I'm not sure who!) will buy them/ they can IPO....whatever. It's abundantly clear everywhere you turn that they just don't care about renewal rates, quality products, efficacy, or employees. Let's not forget the lawsuits: they have had a class action lawsuit brought against them. I promise without a doubt that the glowing reviews are faked......let's not forget what Reputation.com does to make money. Overall: Work here if you really need a job, you'll make it out just fine and this is a brand name firm almost so it can help you to move up in Silicon Valley when you do leave. Don't work here if you have options and are looking for a long term career / career growth.

Pros

The Hiring process is fast and no lack of communication

Cons

Okay, so here they are: A) The Finance Function has very arrogant leadership, they may seem nice and understanding, but its a complete myth. B) No processes and policies within the organization. Its chaotic. C) Improvements and best practices are NOT welcome and no one likes a good feedback. D) You work day and night without any worth of your health and thankfulness to your time and dedication. E) No communication on the work hours but you are expected to work at night, during holidays, during times when you are unwell or want to take a day off. No respect to your personal time out. F) Inflexibility to understanding teams. You will be cornered and made to feel miserable at the wits and fancies of the Finance leadership team. G) Communication is not welcome. The culture is very shallow and BPO like where everyone is insecure about their positions and hence, try and suppress talent as much at possible H) The overall environment is very very toxic for talent and good leaders to prevail.

Company in transition - still

Pros

Good training in reputation management. Co-workers are fun and talented.

Cons

Management in flux. No one seems to know what is going on within departments. Lack of communication can be crippling when dealing with time sensitive issues and customers. Basic rule seems to be just 'make the sale' and hope for the best later. Company feels like a first year start up rather than an established 8 year old company.

Pros

Love the people I work with. Recruiting really sold me on the people and the work environment, otherwise I wouldn't have considered it. Company is seeing great growth year over year, and the new leadership is making that a priority. Company is growing fast and will definitely continue that movement.

Cons

Lack of communication with changes, leaving long-time employees in the dark. Growing Pains.

Pros

-Free lunches, snacks, games in the office. -Some of the people are so, so friendly, I love working with them. -Decent benefits, but huge room for improvement. -Pretty office.

Cons

Absolute and total lack of organization within. Positions are created and dissolved faster than you can blink, and turnover abounds. There's a sense of fear that permeates the company and causes wild amounts of stress among employees. As far as policies go, there are none. Everyone does everything differently. Upper management has no clue what goes on in the trenches, and doesn't care to learn. Meetings are had where they admit issues and commit to solutions but....nothing ever actually gets done? Communication is inconsistent at best, and we're told of changes after they happen. Many, many people are worked to the point of complete burnout; returning emails into the early hours of the morning. But hey, no internal meetings on Wednesdays! Only a couple teams get recognition. Everyone else could not exist for all senior management cares. If I were you, I'd avoid working here.

Pros

I'll agree that not every company is for every type of employee. To blame the company because it wasn't a good fit for you seems a little silly to me. I just celebrated my second anniversary with this company and plan on staying as long as they will have me. I work remotely and communication is excellent. Benefits are great. I don't work in the office so snacks are truly irrelevant to the pro column. I will tell you this company has done nothing but look out for us. I believe in the future of this company and want to see it succeed so my co-workers and I respect and work with each other to enhance both our workflow and the bottom line of the compay. My team rocks and although we are now part of the wholly owned subsidiary ReputationDefender we truly look out for each other. At the end of a phone call with one of my teammates I feel like a truly valued part of this company. That's not given, it has to be earned. work/life balance: I have to say they have been accommodating to a fault working with my requests for remote work. They really do listen - as a result they have a loyal employee who cares about the bottom line and doesn't think in terms of 9-5.

Cons

Turnover is to be expected - lives change - people move on - priorities are shuffled. It would be nice to see a little less turnover but that's not all on the company.

Very glad to hear you're enjoying your role at ReputationDefender! We work hard to ensure employees feel this is a company they can stay with for the long term (and many have, we have average tenure of almost 3 years on the ReputationDefender side!). Keep up the great work!

Pros

Fast paced, hyper growth from an industry leader in a market that is white hot. Reputation.com has the most advanced and well design reputation platform in the ORM industry. We are 18-24 months ahead of our closest competitor and our client list includes many of the most well known brands in the world. The culture is fast paced and demanding. Leadership is exceedingly supportive and our CEO is engaged, accessible and always willing to dive in and assist anyone with any project, client call or problem solving challenge.

Cons

Benefits are good however I'd like to see 401k matching. Communication can sometimes be a problem due to rapid growth but that is somewhat typical for this environment.
