A good job, but a lot of work

Pros

- great atmosphere (employees and management) - good pay (I get 20$/hour) - 2 (or 3) 30min paid breaks per 8hr shift - felt respected, important, and comfortable - entire factory (minus dry storage) is 60° or less which is great for working hard - positions rotate daily, and within positions you rotate every 30 minutes. great for some of the harder spots - you can wear layers or whatever you want, just have to wear pants and close toed shoes - some incentives for attendance and other things

Cons

- time we get out varies daily - first shift is very early, 5:30am - my position requires a lot of lifting, walking, and physical labor. even though there are ways to minimize your pain and injuries, your back, neck, and shoulders will hurt after working regardless. - can be very repetitive, boring - it is LOUD. wear earplugs unless working in a separate area (like the raw room). communication is hard because of this as well - no jewelry, watches allowed - no fridge or freezers for food - sometimes rotating sucks, because you get into an rhythm and then have to switch - drug testing (at least at beginning) - christian company and values, but most people working there never mention anything of the sort
