Pros

While my experience working at Resident Interface was subpar, I did have coworkers who genuinely cared and were great to work with. I had a great work/life balance as well. I think that if you are passionate about collections, this may be an alright fit for you.

Cons

My company was acquired by Resident Interface so I became an employee through a merger. As someone who did not apply to work at Resident Interface but ended up here, I can say that my experience working with the company was not the greatest. Biggest cons: Poor pay and benefits and extremely high turnover rate. I was with Resident Interface for a year and a half and during my time there, employees were leaving left and right. I accrued much more responsibility during my time here and I brought up my salary to my manager and HR several times. I can say that I feel like they would rather just replace you instead of pay you what you deserve. Management loves to micro-manage and there's little room for career growth. The environment in my office was overall very negative because almost nobody was satisfied with how things were being run, so overall being at work was not an enjoyable experience.

Pros

Hunter Warfield is a small company with a lot to offer. The executive team genuinely cares about the overall happiness and satisfaction of their employees. They are consistent in monitoring and inquiring about the staffs' level of satisfaction. They recognize the difficulty of our industry and regularly plan events to build us up. Although the staff does not always agree with decisions having to be made, we are encouraged to "hang in there" and witness the positive change the choices are reaping. Bottom line; this company recognizes that acknowledging it's staff in positive and respectful ways brings about success for everyone.

Cons

The cons are typical within our industry. The monotony of the role of a collector. The negative vibe often experienced with the competitiveness and the lack of teamwork due to the competitive nature of the job. While it may be impossible to run a collection agency without a competition and the end result being monetary compensation, I often wonder if creating ONE team that works together wouldn't be beneficial to the camaraderie. Not only does separate teams cause a sense of "working alone" among collectors, it also prevents managers from working together to benefit the company as a whole. It is no secret that the turn-over rate in collections is great. Finding a way to create one team, one purpose in an industry that is by itself full of negative feedback might serve to ensure the tenure of our staff.

Pros

Great opportunities to learn as much as I can. Excellent management. I feel that I am contributing to the company and my decisions and tasks make a difference as a whole.

Cons

I was recently hired at the beginning of June. I have really been taking in as much as I can to learn the project management and IT processes. Everything has been going very well. No cons.
