Pros

Mutual accountability between managers and their teams Employee Recognition and Engagement PTO Floating Holiday Pay Benefits 401k It is clearly evident that this company cares about every single employee they have. They want to produce the healthiest and happiest work environment for their employees, and I am proud to work here.

Cons

I wish there were two holidays we got off for; the day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. However, we can apply our floating holiday to these dates.

Pros

Hunter Warfield is a small company with a lot to offer. The executive team genuinely cares about the overall happiness and satisfaction of their employees. They are consistent in monitoring and inquiring about the staffs' level of satisfaction. They recognize the difficulty of our industry and regularly plan events to build us up. Although the staff does not always agree with decisions having to be made, we are encouraged to "hang in there" and witness the positive change the choices are reaping. Bottom line; this company recognizes that acknowledging it's staff in positive and respectful ways brings about success for everyone.

Cons

The cons are typical within our industry. The monotony of the role of a collector. The negative vibe often experienced with the competitiveness and the lack of teamwork due to the competitive nature of the job. While it may be impossible to run a collection agency without a competition and the end result being monetary compensation, I often wonder if creating ONE team that works together wouldn't be beneficial to the camaraderie. Not only does separate teams cause a sense of "working alone" among collectors, it also prevents managers from working together to benefit the company as a whole. It is no secret that the turn-over rate in collections is great. Finding a way to create one team, one purpose in an industry that is by itself full of negative feedback might serve to ensure the tenure of our staff.

Pros

When I say I love my job, it is the truth. I do not have that feeling of dread when I wake up in the morning knowing that I have to go to work. You can tell that Hunter Warfield does care about their employees. I feel that I can always speak to a manager or an executive if I have an issue.

Cons

Rules and regulations of the collection world are always changing and sometimes consumers can be extremely rude.
