This Opportunity Isn't For Everybody

Pros

I mean this in the best way. You are going to be pushed to your limit on a weekly basis. You are going to tap into skills you didn't even know you had, and you are going to be asked to continue to put forth your best performance every single day. I have never worked for an organization who has asked so much from me, and is so grateful for the effort I put forth. If you want to work for a place where the status quo is accepted, this isn't the opportunity for you. Be ready to work hard, and be ready to see the fruits of your labor. Patience its necessary. The climb to the top is never easy, but this organization equips you with the best resources to aid you on this journey.

Cons

The cons are few, and are quickly dissipating. With a company who is growing as fast as ResMan, sometimes communication can get muffled, but I have seen great strides to improve the culture, the interpersonal relationships, and the desire to succeed as one.

A dead end for sales careers

Pros

The Solution Engineers are extremely knowledgeable and experienced within the Industry. They're always willing to help or answer questions in order to help customers or close deals and make themselves as available as possible to assist. The marketing team is also a bright spot - always willing to help however they can/whenever asked. Of course, there are other really wonderful people that work there/are still associated with the Company, including the Founder. The core product itself is strong and generally gets good feedback from their customers (given youre within their ideal customer size). Most folks that switch from competitors tend to like it and want to keep it.

Cons

If you are seeking title advancement, salary advancement or advancement into leadership - steer clear! There are several people in the org that have been there for 5+ years with zero advancement. There is no investment into the sales team. They do not teach or invest in formal Sales Methodology training. There will be no onboarding/training other than watching hours of pre-generated videos. Poor internal communication is one of their biggest areas of opportunity - which creates internal tension, confusion, and a toxic work environment. Leadership is extremely unorganized and there's no clear direction coming from them. They take no accountability and no one wants to make decision on anything.
